Ben Hovland is a distinguished figure in the realm of election administration, currently serving as the Commissioner and Chairman of the U.S. Election Assistance Commission. His extensive experience and expertise encompass a deep understanding of U.S. law, governance, election security, and voter education. Prior to his current role, Hovland held key positions such as Acting Chief Counsel with the U.S. Senate Committee on Rules and Administration and, Deputy General Counsel for the Missouri Secretary of State’s office.
